The water in the small island part of the Puerto Rican archipelago is the most amazing turquoise, a sight to behold. This plein air watercolor was made during a vacation trip to Puerto Rico. Culebra suffered relentless bombardment and much of its coral reef was destroyed when it was used as target practice by the US Navy. The 9 x 12” watercolor is sold matted.
